The PPG PS870A-2 (100-ML-SEMKIT) is a high-performance corrosion inhibitive sealant specifically designed for the aerospace industry. With its wide service temperature range from -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C) and intermittent peaks up to 275°F (135°C), this sealant provides robust protection under extreme conditions.

- Corrosion Inhibitive: P/S 870 Class A offers exceptional protection against corrosion, making it ideal for use on aluminum alloys and between dissimilar metals. This ensures the longevity and reliability of aircraft components.
- Temperature Resilience: The sealant performs effectively across a broad temperature range, maintaining its protective qualities and elasticity from -65°F to 250°F, with short-term resistance up to 275°F.
- Fuel Resistant: Even after limited exposure to jet fuel and aviation gas, the cured sealant retains its elastomeric properties, ensuring continued protection and flexibility.
- Easy Application: Supplied as a two-part, manganese dioxide cure polysulfide compound, the P/S 870 Class A is brushable and can be applied up to 25 mils in thickness. It cures at room temperature, forming a resilient and adhesive seal.
