Information
SGK5-05 is manufactured from extra-strength, para-aramid (phenyleneterephthalamide) fiber cloth, impregnated with a dispersion of anti-static PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). This high performance coated fabric then has a layer of high temperature silicone adhesive applied to one side. The black pigmentation provides anti-static performance and protection from UV damage, to which para-aramid fiber cloth is susceptible. Resistivity of this version is less than 106 ohms/in2.
