    Information

    GORE™ SKYFLEX™ Aerospace Materials

    Overview

GORE™ SKYFLEX™ Aerospace Materials are a portfolio of engineered expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) tapes and gaskets developed to provide reliable sealing, abrasion protection, corrosion prevention and gap filling for aerospace faying surfaces. Proven in service for more than 20 years, these lightweight, non-curing materials are specified by leading civil and military aircraft OEMs and provide a reusable alternative to traditional form-in-place (FIP) sealants. Designed for demanding aerospace environments, SKYFLEX™ materials maintain performance after repeated opening and closing cycles while resisting fuels, hydraulic fluids, vibration, UV exposure and harsh operating conditions.
