Information
Flashbreaker® 1 High Temperature Pressure Sensitive Polyester Tape
Overview
Flashbreaker® 1 is a high-temperature polyester pressure-sensitive tape designed for composite manufacturing, metal bonding and aerospace tooling applications. Constructed from a high tensile strength polyester film coated with a silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive, it withstands oven and autoclave curing temperatures up to 204°C while removing cleanly after cure. Its high-visibility blue or orange finish makes inspection easier and helps reduce Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risks during aerospace manufacturing.
