3M SJ3519FR is a flame-retardant hook portion of a hook-and-loop (Velcro) system, specified for aerospace interior and exterior use. The beige colour is commonly used to reduce visual contrast in interior areas. The tape is designed to withstand elevated temperatures, resist flame, and still maintain good hook engagement and peel strength. Engineers in MRO and aircraft manufacturing often use this to attach interior panels, acoustical liners, insulation blankets, or access covers that need to be opened and closed for maintenance. Because it’s a 2-inch roll, it’s flexible to cut to needed lengths.
