The 3M?Scotch?No.69 glass cloth electrical tape features a thermosetting silicone adhesive combined with a woven glass?cloth backing, enabling continuous performance up to ~200?°C (392?°F) and class “H” insulation duty. Aerospace MRO engineers often use this tape in aircraft electrical systems requiring high mechanical strength, edge?tear resistance and resistance to high ambient temperatures. It meets MIL?I?19166C specs and is UL recognised, making it suitable for use in avionics harnesses and high?temperature environmental zones. Its narrow 9?mm width allows precise application under cable bundles or where space is constrained in aerospace structure.
