The 3M?Scotch Glass Cloth Electrical Tape No.?69 is a premium insulating tape featuring a white glasscloth backing (~5.5 mils = 0.140?mm) coated with a thermosetting silicone pressuresensitive adhesive. It is rated for continuous operation up to 200?°C (392?°F) and conforms to MILI19166C. Its excellent mechanical strength, flameretardant nature, and noncorrosive adhesive make it ideal for aerospace electrical systems where durability, heat resistance and reliable adhesion are critical under vibration, thermal cycling and harsh environment conditions. Available in various widths (for example 50?mm ≈1.97?in width × 33?m length) it is often stocked in aircraft MRO inventories for wiring bundle repair, loop wrapping and protective insulation.
