The 3M?Scotch?Glass?Cloth?Electrical?Tape?69 is a premium grade tape featuring a glass cloth backing and a thermosetting silicone adhesive that maintains bond strength at elevated temperatures and resists edge tear, mechanical stress, solvent exposure and flame. With a typical width of 12?mm (0.472?in) and length of 33?m (108?ft), thickness ~0.18?mm (7?mil), it is widely used in aerospace applications for coil covers, anchor wraps, banding and crossover insulation in aircraft electrical and electromechanical assemblies. The tape meets MILI19166C specification, class H (up to 180?°C / 356?°F) and is UL listed for continuous use up to ~200?°C (392?°F). Its high mechanical strength, thermal endurance and conformability make it a trusted component in high reliability aviation installations.
