P/S 890 Class B is a trusted choice across the aviation industry for its outstanding sealing capabilities and resilience under demanding conditions. With a wide service temperature range from -65°F to 250°F and intermittent resistance up to 275°F, it maintains superior adhesion and elastomeric properties even after prolonged exposure to jet fuel, aviation gasoline, and other harsh fluids. Its thixotropic, low-sag formulation enables easy application on vertical and overhead surfaces, making it ideal for precise sealing tasks.
The sealant exhibits excellent resistance to hydrocarbons, water, salt spray, hydraulic fluids, and synthetic oils. It performs reliably through thermal cycling, low-temperature flexibility tests, and fuel immersion, meeting rigorous AMS-S-8802 Class B standards. Furthermore, its ability to repair both fresh and aged fillets enhances its usability in maintenance and production environments.
