Information
P/S 890 Class C is a high-performance, two-part polysulfide sealant designed for aircraft fuel tank and fuselage sealing applications. This material offers excellent elastomeric properties, fuel resistance, and reliable performance in extreme conditions. With a service temperature range from -65°F to 250°F (up to 275°F for intermittent excursions), it is ideal for brush and fay sealing of fuel tanks. After curing at room temperature, P/S 890 Class C forms a resilient seal that maintains superior adhesion to common aircraft substrates, even after prolonged exposure to jet fuel and aviation gas.
Key Features:
- Temperature and Fluid Resistance: Performs in extreme temperature ranges (-65°F to 250°F) and resists a variety of fluids, including jet fuel, aviation gas, and petroleum-based oils.
- Easy to Apply: Available in two-part kits or Semco® cartridges for convenient mixing and application, ensuring minimal waste and easy handling.
- Corrosion and Fungus Resistance: Demonstrates no corrosion, softening, or blistering after immersion in saltwater or exposure to various hydrocarbons, while also being fungus-resistant.
Applications:
P/S 890 Class C is ideal for fuel tank and fuselage sealing in aircraft, as well as aerospace maintenance and repair where sealing integrity and resistance to extreme conditions are essential. It is also perfect for sealing applications that require resistance to a variety of fluids, including aviation fuels, oils, and water.
Order your P/S 890 Class C today and experience high-quality sealing performance in critical environments.
