PR-1782 Class C delivers high performance in demanding aviation environments. This two-part, manganese dioxide-cured polysulfide compound cures at room temperature into a resilient, flexible sealant with strong adhesion to common aircraft substrates. With a service temperature range of -65°F to 250°F, it retains its elastomeric properties even after prolonged exposure to jet fuel, aviation gasoline, and limited contact with phosphate ester-based hydraulic fluids.
Its low-density formulation significantly reduces overall aircraft weight, while its roller-grade consistency allows for efficient application via brush, extrusion gun, or spatula, ideal for interlay sealing and other complex sealing tasks across the aircraft fuselage. The product’s superior fuel resistance and durability make it well-suited for both OEM and MRO operations.
