Information
PR-1425CF Class B Windshield and Canopy Sealant
Overview
PR-1425CF Class B is a fast-curing, chrome-free, two-component polysulfide sealant developed by PPG Aerospace for aircraft windshield, canopy and transparency sealing applications. Formulated with a manganese dioxide curing system, it provides outstanding adhesion to properly prepared glass, acrylic and polycarbonate without causing crazing. The cured sealant delivers excellent UV, weather and rain erosion resistance while maintaining flexibility over a wide operating temperature range, making it ideal for both OEM production and aircraft MRO operations.
