PPG PS870B 1/2-BM1001 (100ml Semkit) is a high performance, two part, manganese dioxide cured polysulfide sealant engineered to provide durable corrosion protection and sealing performance for aerospace structures. It offers excellent resistance to fuel, moisture, and environmental contaminants, forming a flexible, long lasting seal suitable for demanding aircraft applications.

Key Technical Specs

Provides corrosion protection for aluminum and dissimilar metals, preventing galvanic and environmental damage. Operates across a wide temperature range from 65 F (54 C) to 250 F (121 C), with intermittent exposure up to 275 F (135 C). Resistant to jet fuel, Avgas, moisture, and common aerospace contaminants. The thixotropic paste allows easy application via extrusion gun or spatula, curing at room temperature to form a flexible, durable seal.
