Overview
Dow DC736-RED is a premium aerospace-grade silicone elastomer sealant tailored for extreme environments in aircraft engine and auxiliary system installations. The 300-ml cartridge is convenient for maintenance in shop or field environments. Its red color indicates suitability for high-temperature and visually critical areas. The sealant cures to a flexible elastomer, allowing movement and vibration absorption while maintaining integrity under thermal cycling and exposure to fuels, oils, and deicing fluids. Aerospace engineers use it to maintain joint and seam integrity where failure could lead to leaks, corrosion, or structural damage.
