Information
Naftoseal MC?780 A?2 is formulated to deliver the benefits of polysulfide sealing with reduced density, making it particularly suited for applications where weight savings are important. The two part system cures via manganese dioxide, and the A?2 variant gives a 2 hour working time. It retains flexibility and bond strength on typical aerospace substrates (aluminium, titanium, composites) under thermal cycle, vibration, and chemical exposure. The sealant’s low density helps minimise added mass in fuel tanks or fuselage joints without compromising performance, it remains effective across a wide service temperature range (–55?°C to +130?°C) and tolerates short term exposure to higher temperatures.
