Information
Trimite J9813, supplied in a 5-litre can, is another A98 series curing agent, but tailored to produce a semi-gloss finish when combined with A98 resin.
When mixed 1:1 with A98 base, J9813 enables a balance between aesthetic appearance and performance, giving a semi gloss, chemically resistant topcoat that still meets DEF?STAN?80?161.
This curing agent is used where a slightly lower sheen is preferred, perhaps for panels, structural surfaces, or assemblies where glare must be reduced, or where semi gloss surfaces are standard in the finish specification. It ensures that the resulting coating retains good film hardness, adhesion, and durability under operational stress.
