The TL52 thinner from AkzoNobel Aerospace is a clear solvent component designed to integrate with AkzoNobel epoxy primer systems. Licensed for aerospace use, it facilitates thinning and cleaning operations to ensure optimal application and performance of primer coatings in the aviation maintenance environment. It is approved under major OEM specifications (e.g., Boeing BMS?1020 Type II Class A) and is suitable for high specification aerospace roles where substrate protection, adhesion and chemical resistance (including aviation hydraulic fluids and fuel resistance) are required. The thinner enables the correct rheology for the primer and supports equipment cleaning and solvent compatibility in the painting process.
