    Overview

    JetFlex® Aircraft Interior Finish 981300 Series is a two-component, solvent-based polyurethane enamel developed by Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings for finishing and refinishing aircraft cabin and cockpit components. Suitable for both plastic and metal substrates, the coating provides excellent flexibility, hardness, abrasion resistance and adhesion while meeting Boeing BMS 10-83D Type II and Type III requirements. JetFlex® can be applied as either a smooth or textured finish using the same coating system and is available in an extensive range of solid colours and gloss levels.

    Practical Suggestions for Your Team (AOG Mindset)

    • Shake the colour component thoroughly for 10-15 minutes before mixing
    • Maintain the specified 7:1 catalyst ratio to ensure proper cure performance
    • Reduce only with CM0110845 JetFlex® Reducer to achieve correct spray viscosity
    • Apply two medium wet coats with a 10-15 minute flash-off between coats
    • Filter strained material before spraying and clean equipment immediately after use with JetFlex® Reducer
    • Always verify adhesion and system compatibility on plastic substrates before production application
