Overview
5447 PU66 8H Topcoat Gloss Summer Version is a conventional-solids, two-component flexible polyurethane aerospace topcoat formulated specifically for application in high-temperature and high-humidity environments. Designed for use in conditions above 30°C and up to 80% relative humidity, it provides outstanding weather resistance, excellent fluid resistance and long-term durability for both aircraft interior and exterior protection. The coating is qualified to multiple aerospace specifications and is ideal for OEM production and MRO operations in challenging climatic conditions.

Compatibility & Safety Notes
- Compatible with approved PPG aerospace primer systems
- Clean surfaces using DeSoto® CN20 or Desoclean™ 45 solvent cleaners before application
- No induction time is required after mixing
- Store all components between 5°C and 35°C
- Condition materials at 15-30°C for at least 24 hours before mixing and spraying
- Refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use

- Mix Ratio: 1 part Base to 1 part Activator 0730/9000 with thinner added to spraying viscosity
- Induction Time: None required
- Pot Life: 8 hours at 21-25°C

Practical Suggestions for Your Team
- Condition all components to 15-30°C before mixing for consistent spray performance.
- Mix thoroughly and add thinner gradually until the correct spray viscosity is achieved.
- Apply two even cross coats to achieve the specified film thickness.
- Observe the maximum 72-hour overcoat window at ambient temperature.
- Clean spray equipment immediately after use using DeSoto® CN20 or Desoclean™ 45.
