This Pelseal?3145 coating system is a two?part fluoroelastomer based formulation which cures to form a durable, flexible protective film on aircraft structural components exposed to erosive particles. It is specified as an erosion?resistant coating, applied over primed metallic or composite substrates, for example the leading edge of the wing, ventral fairing, nacelle inlets, and high?velocity surfaces subject to rain or HIRF particulate strike. It adheres firmly to the substrate, withstands repeated impacts, resists cracking, and helps maintain aerodynamic smoothness while prolonging component life.
