Overview

JetFlex® Aircraft Interior Finish 981300 Series is a two-component, solvent-based polyurethane enamel developed by Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings for the finishing and refinishing of aircraft cabin and cockpit components. Suitable for both plastic and metal substrates, the coating delivers excellent flexibility, hardness, abrasion resistance and adhesion while meeting Boeing BMS 10-83D Type II and Type III requirements. JetFlex® can be applied as either a smooth or textured finish using the same coating system and is available in an extensive range of solid colours and gloss levels.

• JetFlex® WR Spray Fil CM0481505 may be used on plastic substrates for filling and adhesion

Practical Suggestions for Your Team (AOG Mindset)

• Shake the colour component thoroughly (10-15 minutes) before mixing
• Maintain the specified 7:1 catalyst ratio to ensure proper cure performance
• Reduce only with CM0110845 JetFlex® Reducer to achieve spray viscosity
• Apply two medium wet coats with a 10-15 minute flash-off between coats
• Keep spray equipment clean by flushing immediately after use with JetFlex® Reducer
• Always test adhesion and system compatibility on plastic substrates before production application
