In the aerospace grade IP9064 twopack epoxy coating system by Indestructible Paint, the IP9064CAT is the catalyst selected for use with the IP9064 base resin (Part A). The catalyst enables the coating to cure to achieve the required performance characteristics including strong adhesion, resistance to fuel, lubricants, Skydrol, saltfog, high temperature exposure and corrosion on substrates such as magnesium, aluminium and steel. This component is typically used in maintenance settings where large volumes of primer or finish coatings are mixed and applied in an aerospace environment and ensures the correct film formation, cure schedule and compliance to aerospace specification standards.
