Overview
Desothane® HS CA8000 is a high-solids, low-VOC polyurethane aerospace topcoat designed to provide long-term protection and decorative finishing for aircraft exterior surfaces. Engineered for application over Desoprime™ epoxy primers, it delivers exceptional gloss retention, color stability, fluid resistance, and environmental durability while maintaining performance across a wide range of operating conditions. The coating is qualified to numerous aerospace OEM specifications and meets the performance requirements of MIL-PRF-85285.

Installation & Handling
- Apply only to clean, dry, properly prepared primed surfaces
- Recommended application temperature: 15°C to 35°C
- Recommended relative humidity: 20-90%
- No induction time required after mixing
- Apply 2-3 coats to achieve 50-75 ?m dry film thickness
- Allow first coat to tack before applying subsequent coats
- Flash-off time after final coat: 30 minutes
