Solvay BR 6747-1 is a high-performance, chromate-based, modified epoxy corrosion-inhibiting primer designed for structural adhesive bonding in demanding aerospace and industrial applications. This advanced primer is 100% water-based, zero VOC, and delivers exceptional corrosion resistance and adhesion performance, matching the properties of traditional solvent-based primers while exceeding all state and federal VOC regulations.
Engineered for versatility, BR 6747-1 offers wide processing latitude, compatibility with multiple adhesive systems, and straightforward application using HVLP or standard air-atomizing spray equipment. Ideal for aluminum and other metal substrates, this primer ensures superior bond durability under harsh environmental conditions.
