Information
Ardrox 204CF is a general-purpose, waterrinseable paint remover formulated for aerospace applications. It chemically attacks a wide range of paint finishes, including chromate and other primer types, without damaging the underlying metal when used correctly. Its viscous formulation allows good contact on vertical or curved surfaces, and after application and dwell time, the paint blisters and can be removed. As it is water-rinsable, it simplifies post-stripping cleanup. Aviation engineers and MRO technicians use it when stripping aircraft parts in preparation for recoat or inspection, ensuring surfaces are clean, fully de-coated, and ready for pretreatment or non-destructive testing.
