AkzoNobel Eclipse Gloss (ECL-G-XXX) is a premium, chemically cured, low-VOC polyurethane topcoat engineered to deliver exceptional gloss and superior distinctness of image (DOI). Designed for both durability and beauty, Eclipse Gloss provides long-lasting protection against harsh environmental conditions, while maintaining outstanding appearance retention. When paired with AkzoNobel primers, this coating system exceeds OEM standards for exterior aircraft performance and protection.

Applications:
For optimal results, apply Eclipse Gloss at a temperature between 15 °C – 35 °C (59 °F – 95 °F) and relative humidity of 35% – 75%. Use the following thinner and overcoat recommendations for best performance:
- Mix Ratio: 2 parts Base (ECL-G-XXX) : 1 part Curing Solution (PC-233) : 1 part Thinner
- Compatible Thinners: TR-109, TR-111, TR-112, TR-113, TR-141
- Recommended Film Thickness: 51 – 76 µm (2 – 3 mils)
- Dry to Touch: 45 min – 3.25 hrs (depending on thinner and conditions)
- Recoat Window: – Up to 24 hrs with TR-109 or TR-141 undercoat – Up to 12 hrs with TR-111 undercoat
If this time is exceeded, sand or abrade with P320 grit or non-woven pad before recoating.

Storage & Shelf Life:
- Storage Conditions: Store between 5 °C – 38 °C (41 °F – 100 °F) in dry, unopened containers.
- Shelf Life: 24 months for ECL-G-XXX Base, PC-233 Curing Solution, and all Thinners (TR-109 to TR-141).
