TOPCOAT A1500-M is a three-component polyurethane aircraft exterior topcoat designed to provide high chemical resistance, excellent durability, and good UV resistance. It is used for exterior aircraft finishing applications where long-term colour stability and protective performance are required.

Surface Preparation & Compatibility
- Apply preferably over previously sanded anticorrosion primer
- Recommended sanding grade: 240 to 400 abrasive paper
- Substrate must be blown clean and free from contamination
- Clean surface using lint-free cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol
- Suitable for approved aircraft primer systems
Mixing & Application
- Spray Mixing Ratio by Volume:
- Base A1500-M: 1 V
- Hardener A1500-M: 1 V
- Thinner P2: 0 V to 0.5 V
- Store unmixed components between 18°C and 25°C for 24 hours before use
- Mix A1500-M base for 10 minutes before use
- Mix base and hardener until fully homogenised
- Application temperature: 15°C to 35°C
- Recommended filtration: 80-150 µm filter
Textured Application
- Use FRS Hardener for textured finishes
- Mixing Ratio: 100% weight A1500-M Base + 28% weight FRS Hardener
- Recommended dynamic air pressure: 0.04 to 0.05 bar
