    Overview

    TOPCOAT A1000 is a three-component flexible polyurethane aircraft topcoat designed for exterior aircraft finishing. It provides excellent chemical resistance, high UV resistance, and long-lasting decorative protection for metallic and composite aircraft structures. The product is qualified to Airbus standards and is suitable for OEM production and MRO repainting.

    Surface Preparation

    • Apply over approved anticorrosion primer
    • Sand primer using orbital sander with grade 240-400 abrasive paper
    • Blow surface clean and dry
    • Final clean using lint-free cloth with isopropyl alcohol
    • Ensure substrate is clean, dry and contamination-free before application

    Mixing & Application

    • Spray Application (Volume):
    • Base: 1 V
    • Hardener: 1 V
    • Thinner: 0-1 V
    • Store unmixed materials between 18°C and 25°C for 24 hours before use
    • Mix base for 10 minutes before adding hardener
    • Mix until fully homogeneous before spraying
    • Application Temperature: 15°C to 35°C
    • Recommended filter: 80-150 µm

    Brush Application

    • Base: 2 V
    • Hardener A1000 BRUSH: 1 V
    • Use A1000 BRUSH hardener for brush application only

    Application Equipment
