Overview
TOPCOAT A1000 is a three-component flexible polyurethane aircraft exterior topcoat designed for aircraft decoration and protection. It provides high chemical resistance, excellent durability, and good UV resistance for exterior aerospace applications.

Surface Preparation & Compatibility
- Apply preferably over an anticorrosion primer previously sanded using orbital sanding equipment
- Recommended sanding grade: 240 to 400 grit
- Substrate must be dry and free from contamination
- Clean surface using a lint-free cloth moistened with isopropyl alcohol
- Suitable for approved aircraft primer systems
Mixing & Application
- Spray Mixing Ratio by Volume:
- Base: 1 V
- Hardener / Catalyst: 1 V
- Thinner: 0 V to 1 V
- Store unmixed products between 18°C and 25°C for 24 hours before use
- Mix A1000 base for 10 minutes using pneumatic or oscillating mixer
- Mix base, hardener, and thinner until fully homogenised
- Application temperature: 15°C to 35°C
- Recommended filtration: 80-150 µm filter
Brush Application
- Mixing Ratio by Volume:
- Base: 2 V
- Hardener / Catalyst: 1 V
- Recommended Hardener: A1000 BRUSH
- Designed specifically for brush application requirements

- Gravity compressed air spray gun
- Nozzle size: 1.2 mm to 1.8 mm

- Drying data based on 70 µm dry film thickness
