    Information

The Eclipse ECLG series by AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings is a chemically cured, lowVOC polyurethane topcoat formulated for demanding aerospace exterior finishes. The ECLG2867 variant is part of that family, designed to deliver premium gloss, excellent distinctness of image (DOI), and superior resistance to chemicals, stains, UV, moisture and abrasion. The technical data sheet specifies a dry film thickness of 5176?µm (23?mils) and theoretical coverage around 22?m² per litre at 25?µm DFT (~900?ft² per US gallon at 1?mil DFT) when applied per spec. This coating meets multiple OEM specifications such as BMS?1060, BMS?1072, AMS?3095 and others, making it effective for both new build and maintenance repaint operations. The onegallon size fits major maintenance base usage. For aviation engineers the product supports OEM compliance, aesthetic appearance, durability under harsh environmental cycles and simplifies sourcing by referencing established spec codes.
