Silver Goop is a must-have lubricant to keep on hand for situations when things might heat up. The oil-based thread lubricant works to protect your important stainless steel and metal alloy components from seizing under high temperatures. It works in temperatures up to 1500 degrees Fahrenheit and is non-melting so it will stay where you put it. Like other anti-seize lubricants, Silver Goop works to lower torque on threaded parts. Put plainly, that means it makes it easy to remove components that can get locked in place. It's also moisture-resistant, so you say goodbye to corrosion. The compound also prevents galling and has a unique texture that stays in place when you need it the most.
