    Material Engineering & Design Features

LPS® Copper Anti-Seize is formulated with copper-based lubricating solids that create a protective barrier between mating metal surfaces. The coating reduces friction, prevents metal-to-metal seizure, and maintains separability of threaded components even after prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures and corrosive environments.

    Key design features include:

    • Copper-based anti-seize technology
    • High-temperature protection to 1093°C (2000°F)
    • Excellent adhesion to metal surfaces
    • Corrosion-resistant protective film
    • Suitable for stainless steel and dissimilar metal assemblies
    • Lead-free formulation

    The product complies with:

    • MIL-PRF-907E (non-aerosol version)

    Installation & Handling

    • Clean surfaces thoroughly before application
    • For aerosol products, shake vigorously for approximately 30 seconds before use
    • Apply a thin, even coating to all mating surfaces
    • For aerosol application, hold can approximately 15-20 cm (6-8 inches) from the surface
    • Reapply as required during maintenance intervals
    • After aerosol use, clear spray valve by inverting the can and spraying until clear propellant emerges
    • Not recommended for oxygen system applications

    Environmental & Compliance Notes

    • Lead-free formulation
    • Store away from ignition sources and excessive heat
    • Protect aerosol containers from temperatures above 50°C
    • Store in well-ventilated areas
    • Avoid puncturing, crushing, or incinerating aerosol containers
    • Use appropriate personal protective equipment during handling
    • Dispose of material in accordance with applicable regulations
    • Consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use

    Key Advantages

    • Exceptional high-temperature anti-seize protection
    • Prevents thread damage and component seizure
    • Reduces maintenance costs through fastener reuse
    • Excellent corrosion and galvanic protection
    • Highly adhesive on wet and dry surfaces
    • Suitable for stainless steel and mixed-metal assemblies
    • Lead-free formulation supports modern environmental requirements
    • Ideal for industrial, maintenance, power generation, and transportation applications
