Overview
Krytox XHT-BDX is a PFPE-based, non-flammable, chemically inert grease engineered for extreme temperature applications. Continuous use is typically up to 288°C (550°F), with higher spikes possible depending on metallurgy and relubrication. The non-melting thickener prevents standard PTFE melting issues, offering superior retention and lower evaporation at high temperatures. Used in aviation for low-speed bearings, pillow blocks, seals, and components exposed to high thermal loads or oxidizing atmospheres.
