Chemours Krytox XHT-BDX High-Temperature Grease (2 oz tube)
Commonly Used Product Name:
Chemours / Krytox XHT?BDX High?Temperature Grease (2?oz tube)
Product Summary: Extra?high?temperature PFPE grease supplied in a 2?oz tube (≈?56.70?g by mass); formulated for continuous service to ~288?°C (500?°F) with spikes up to ≈?360?°C (≈?680?°F) depending on application metallurgy. Non?flammable, chemically inert lubricant for extreme?temperature bearings, seals, and sliding components.
MRO Category: Lubricants & Greases
SubCategory: High?Temperature PFPE Grease (XHT Series)
Function: Provides lubrication, anti?seize, and protection for bearings, slides, seals, and other components subjected to extreme heat and chemically aggressive environments; maintains film and reduces wear where conventional greases fail.
Use Cases: High?temperature bearings and housings near engines, exhausts, heat?soak areas, oxygen systems where non?flammability and chemical inertness are required, oven/process equipment on aircraft ground support, and specialty fittings on airframe/engine accessory systems exposed to elevated temperatures.

    Information

Krytox XHT-BDX is a PFPE-based, non-flammable, chemically inert grease engineered for sustained lubrication in extreme temperature environments (typical continuous use around 288 °C / 500 °F and capable of higher spikes with correct metallurgy and relubrication strategy). The XHT formulation uses a non-melting thickener to avoid the melting issue of standard PTFE thickeners at extreme temperatures, giving better retention and lower evaporation at high temperatures. It’s commonly used in aviation for low-speed bearings, pillow blocks, seals and other components that experience very high thermal loads or oxidizing atmospheres. Engineers search “Krytox XHT-BDX 2 oz”, “XHT-BDX high temperature grease”, or OEM part references (e.g., Boeing shop listings) when specifying high-temp lubricants.
