    Information

The Enthone 50-700R Black Catalyst (1-Usqt) is a high-performance adhesion-promoting catalyst designed to enhance the durability and quality of your ink applications. This catalyst is ideal for use with Enthone M Series inks, providing excellent adhesion on a variety of surfaces. It cures at room temperature within 5-7 days but achieves optimal bonding when heat-cured at temperatures between 65.6°C to 93.3°C (150°F to 200°F). The 50-700R Black Catalyst is perfect for a wide range of applications, including screen printing, hand stamping, machine marking, and spraying, offering flexibility and superior performance for both small and large-scale printing projects.

    Key Features:

    • Mixing Flexibility: Easily mixed with Enthone M Series inks at precise ratios for optimal performance. The catalyst requires accurate measurement to ensure the correct ink consistency and cured properties.
    • Long Pot Life: Depending on the catalyst used, the pot life can extend from 12 to 24 hours, with higher ambient temperatures reducing pot life. Additions of solvent can prolong pot life.
    • Surface Preparation: For best results, ensure that the surface to be printed is clean and free from contaminants.

    Applications:

This material is versatile across various applications. It works well for screen printing on monofilament polyester fabrics with mesh counts of 180 to 330, delivering high-definition results. It's also ideal for hand stamping on rubber, neoprene, or urethane stamps, creating sharp designs for small or intricate images. For machine marking, it is perfect for transfer-pad or flat-bed printers, ensuring clear, precise markings with minimal pressure. Additionally, it can be thinned for spray applications, making it suitable for complex or large-area designs.
