Overview

Breyden 503-8 is a flat braided tape manufactured from continuous filament Nomex® yarn and impregnated with a specially formulated self-extinguishing synthetic elastomer finish. Designed for aerospace lacing and bundling applications, the finish enhances knot holding and tying characteristics while maintaining excellent heat resistance and mechanical strength. Manufactured in accordance with Boeing Material Specification BMS 13-54, the tape is widely used for securing wire harnesses and cable assemblies in commercial and military aircraft.
