Desoclean™ 45 is a broad-spectrum aerospace solvent cleaner developed by PPG Aerospace (PRC-DeSoto) for removing oils, greases, contaminants, and residues from aircraft surfaces without leaving a film. Designed for surface preparation prior to painting, bonding and sealing operations, it improves coating and sealant adhesion on aluminium substrates while also serving as an effective cleaner for spray equipment and paint systems. Application Guidelines

• Saturate a clean white cotton or nylon cloth with Desoclean™ 45.
• Wet the surface thoroughly and immediately wipe dry using a clean cloth ("wipe-on, wipe-off" method).
• Do not allow the solvent to evaporate on the substrate before wiping.
• Replace cleaning cloths frequently to prevent contaminant transfer.
• Do not return used cloths to the solvent container.
• Do not use rayon, acetate or synthetic fibres that may be dissolved by the solvent.
• Test compatibility before using on plastics or painted surfaces, as the cleaner may soften or craze certain materials.
• Can be used for cleaning spray hoses, spray guns and automatic gun washing equipment.
