Information
Ardrox 6486 is a versatile, biodegradable, aqueous alkaline cleaner specifically formulated for aerospace use. It combines strong alkali builders, corrosion inhibitors, sequestrants, and surfactants to deliver excellent cleaning power with minimal foam. The high pH (12.7) ensures effective oil and grease removal, while the inhibitors protect base metals such as aluminium, steel, and titanium during cleaning. As it’s a concentrate, it can be diluted for immersion tanks, spray-wash systems or manual cleaning. Its non-flammable nature and low-foam profile make it safe and practical for use in maintenance facilities, providing a reliable pre-treatment solution before painting, bonding, or inspection.
