    Information

The product “Ardrox?2302” is a twolayer solvent blend (upper oilseal layer and lower active solvent layer) designed for heavy duty paint and carbon removal in aerospace MRO. It contains solvents, activators and corrosion inhibitors, and excludes phenolic compounds, aromatic solvents and heavy metals. Typical operating immersion temperature is 80110?°C (176230?°F), with short periods up to 140?°C (284?°F) for very resistant coatings. It has been tested on magnesium, aluminium, mild steel, copper, brass, titanium and cadmium plated alloys and complies with requirements for hydrogen embrittlement per MILPRF83936C. In aircraft maintenance operations this stripper enables rapid removal of old paint schemes (epoxy, polyurethane, phenolic) and carbonaceous deposits from landing gear, nacelle panels, turbine casings, facilitating refurbish and anticorrosion treatment.
