The Chemetall Acedet 5509 is a neutral, non?ionic cleaning agent designed for sensitive substrates. It does not attack soft coated glass surfaces and is suited where subsequent sealing or bonding is required without negative effect. The product is supplied in a 20 kg pail and can be diluted as appropriate. As it avoids aggressive chemistry, it is relevant in aerospace MRO when preparing glass, laminate or coated substrates where aggressive acid/alkali cleaners would damage coatings or performance.
