    Information

Callington?CH8000 is a special heavy duty exterior aircraft cleaner designed for use in environments where heavy oil, hydraulic fluid, smoke trail, soot, and other extreme contaminants reside on aircraft external surfaces such as landing gear bays, engine exhaust zones and flaps. Supplied in a 20?L drum (~5.28?US?gal) it can be used undiluted or diluted (e.g., 1:1 for moderate soil, up to 1:8 for light soil) and formulated as a micro?emulsion solvent + biodegradable surfactant system enabling waterless or minimal water cleaning, which reduces maintenance downtime and turnaround. The product is non?flammable, leaves no paint dulling or abrasive effect, and is approved to aerospace cleaning standards including AMS?1526C, AMS?1530C, Boeing?D6?17487 & BSS7432, and usable for OEMs such as Airbus (CML?08ABC1) and Lockheed?Martin (C?130 H/J). The pH when neat is ~9.5 and shelf life is ~2 years. Its ability to cling to vertical surfaces, remove heavy contaminants without rinsing and leave glossy, streak free surfaces makes it valuable for line maintenance cleaning regimes on commercial and military aircraft.
