Ardrox?2312 is formulated by Chemetall to safely and effectively remove silicone rubber without the use of chlorinated solvents, reducing risk to sensitive alloys. This allows MRO engineers to strip bonded parts during teardown for inspection or refurbishment without damaging the underlying metal. As it's non-chlorinated, it is more acceptable in modern health, safety, and environmental regimes. Its use helps ensure that parts are clean and ready for subsequent inspection, repair, or re-bonding.
