S1125 Chemical and Heat-Resistant Adhesive is a high-performance two-component epoxy/polyamide adhesive developed by TE Connectivity (Raychem) for aerospace cable harnessing applications. Specifically formulated to complement the chemical and heat resistance of Raychem System 25 products, it delivers excellent environmental resistance, low outgassing and durable bonding to heat-shrink tubing, molded parts and connector hardware. The adhesive is widely used in aerospace, defence and high-reliability electrical harness assembly where long-term resistance to fuels, fluids and elevated temperatures is required.

Application Guidelines

• Prepare substrates by cleaning with isopropyl alcohol before bonding.
• Abrade cable jackets and molded parts with 100-grit abrasive where recommended.
• Mix the two components thoroughly before application.
• Allow to cure for 24 hours at room temperature or accelerate curing for 1 hour at 85°C.
• Store unopened containers below 25°C and away from direct sunlight.
