PU66 is a high-performance two-part polyurethane pore filler by PPG, designed specifically for aerospace refinishing operations. It offers the right balance of flexibility and hardness once cured, enabling engineers to sand it flush to smooth surfaces without cracking or shrinking. It bonds well to typical aerospace substrates (carbon-fibreepoxy, aluminium, etc.) and is resistant to relevant maintenance chemicals and hydraulic fluids, making it ideal under primer systems. This filler helps in achieving high-quality surface finish, improving aerodynamics, and avoiding coating defects caused by surface porosity.
