Information
The Loctite?430 product is a one part, low viscosity methyl cyanoacrylate adhesive, designed for general purpose bonding of metal substrates in aerospace and industrial manufacture. It requires no mixing, cures by atmospheric moisture, and achieves fixture in ~30?seconds at 22?°C, with full cure reached after ~24?h. It is qualified to Commercial Item Description AA3097 and reported to satisfy MILA46050C Type I Class II. Its typical tensile strength is ≥?870?psi (≈6?MPa) on BunaN substrate and exhibits excellent resistance to solvents and environmental exposure. In aerospace MRO settings it offers a quick bonding solution for metal parts where clamping and downtime must be minimised, such as trim components, brackets, light assemblies, and where adhesive application rather than mechanical fasteners is viable.
