Loctite?4105 is a black, rubber toughened, ethyl based cyanoacrylate adhesive designed to bond metals, plastics and rubbers with high impact strength, improved peel resistance and durability under thermal cycling. It is capable of developing handling strength quickly and offering robustness in demanding environments, making it suitable for aircraft MRO where components may experience thermal shock, vibration or dynamic stresses. It offers fixture times from ~60–120?seconds and gap fill up to ~0.2?mm. Its relevance lies in repair or bonding of assemblies that are subject to combined loading and environmental stressing, offering a durable adhesive solution where standard instant adhesives might not suffice.
