Overview
Loctite 406 is a one-part ethyl cyanoacrylate instant adhesive designed for demanding bonding layouts with minimal gap (~0.12 mm). Cure time is extremely fast (~30 seconds on steel). It is suited for plastics and elastomers, including EPDM, and when used with appropriate primers, can bond difficult substrates such as PP, PE, and PTFE. The operating temperature range (-40°C to 120°C) supports a wide variety of ambient aviation conditions.
