Henkel LOCTITE-272 (50-ml-Btl)

Loctite?272 is a red high strength threadlocking adhesive with medium viscosity, formulated to cure anaerobically (in absence of air) when confined between closefitting metal threads. Upon cure it forms a hardened thermoset polymer that resists vibration, shock, solvents, oils and high temperatures up to ≈?232?°C (450?°F). Typical breakaway torque on M10 steel bolts is approx. 23?N·m (≈?200?lb·in) after full cure. In aviation maintenance, its relevance lies in its ability to secure critical fasteners in demanding environments (high temperatures, vibration, cyclic loads) and to prevent galvanic deterioration or loosening where manual locking wires may not be feasible. The product is supplied in a 50?ml bottle (metric) or ~1.69?fl?oz (imperial) size, guaranteeing sufficient quantity for targeted assemblies while minimising waste.
