LOCTITE® 431™ is a one-component, medium-viscosity ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive engineered for the rapid bonding of metals, plastics, elastomers and porous materials. Designed for difficult-to-bond substrates requiring uniform stress distribution and high tensile or shear strength, it provides fast fixture times and develops full chemical resistance after complete cure. Application & Curing

• Clean all bonding surfaces thoroughly before application
• Apply adhesive to one bonding surface only
• Assemble components immediately after application
• Fixture time varies by substrate (typically 5-300 seconds)
• Clamp or hold components until handling strength is achieved
• Allow 24-72 hours to develop full mechanical and chemical resistance
• LOCTITE® Activator may be used where rapid curing is required
