Information
EC?7272 is a toughened, two-part epoxy designed for precision structural applications. It's used both as a shim, to fill gaps, misalignments, or tolerance build-up, and as an adhesive, allowing bonded parts to carry structural loads. The liquid form enables it to flow into tight interfaces, and once cured, it provides high strength and good mechanical durability under stress, vibration and environmental conditions. Aerospace engineers favour it during repair or manufacturing when joint geometry doesn’t perfectly match design tolerances, enabling restoration to required alignment without resorting to mechanical shims.
