Information
3M Scotch-Weld EC-3501 B/A is a thixotropic, two-component epoxy adhesive engineered for aerospace structural bonding applications. It features a balanced 1:1 mix ratio by volume, delivering long working life (~6–10 minutes at 24?°C) before it begins to set. After mixing, the adhesive cures sufficiently in 90–120 minutes to allow handling, and continues to develop strength as it matures, with excellent shear and environmental resistance. It is especially useful for filling small voids or pinholes in composite structures prior to finishing, as well as bonding metals and plastics in assemblies subject to vibration and stress.
